Terms
These terms cover your use of the Rinava app, published by Little Whale Holding B.V., Netherlands.
Licence
Rinava is licensed to you, not sold. Unless we agree otherwise with you in writing, the app installed from the App Store is provided under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement: Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you install the app from Google Play, these terms apply to the app, and the Google Play Terms of Service apply to your use of Google Play.
Membership and purchases
Rinava keeps free access. The Netherlands reference prices for membership are:
- €9.99 per month, automatically renewing.
- €69.99 per year, automatically renewing.
- €99.99 for lifetime membership, as a one-time purchase that does not renew.
The localized price in the purchase confirmation from Apple or Google Play is the amount payable. A lifetime purchase has no scheduled expiry and does not renew automatically. All three options provide the same current membership allowance: 60 roleplay starts per UTC calendar month. Each roleplay session allows up to 60 AI replies, including expression help. Members can also listen to the audio explanations of all scenes. Without membership, a signed-in account can listen to the full audio explanation of the first scene of each theme and to samples of the audio explanations of the other scenes. Lifetime does not promise unlimited AI, all future products or World services.
In the app on Apple devices, you buy through the App Store. Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew unless you turn renewal off in Apple’s subscription settings before the next renewal. Access continues until the verified paid period ends. A monthly-to-yearly change takes effect at the next renewal; the current plan remains in effect until then.
In the Android app, you buy through Google Play. Google charges the payment method in your Google Play account when you confirm a purchase. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew unless you cancel them in Google Play before the next renewal. Access continues until the verified paid period ends. A monthly-to-yearly change also takes effect at the next renewal. Google Play handles these payments and decides refund requests under its refund policy.
Buying lifetime while subscribed is a separate charge. Verified lifetime access begins immediately after purchase verification. The purchase does not cancel the existing subscription, prorate unused time, provide credit or automatically refund earlier payments. The subscription can keep renewing. Manage it in the store where you bought it: an Apple subscription with Manage Apple subscription in the app, a Google Play subscription in Google Play. Closing a store’s subscription screen is not proof of cancellation. The store that sold a purchase handles its payment and decides refund requests.
Overlapping purchases and plan changes share the same account allowance and do not reset it. Unused monthly allowance does not carry over. Members can buy a separate practice pack with 10 roleplay starts, valid for 90 days from purchase and used after the current allowance. Any remaining paid pack balance stays usable until the pack expires, even if membership ends. Refunds or revocations approved by Apple or Google Play remove the affected purchase’s remaining entitlement without removing another valid purchase.
Membership belongs to your Rinava account, not to a store. When you sign in to the same account, you get the same benefits on Apple devices and on Android. Each store charges, renews and refunds only its own purchases, so manage each subscription in the store where you bought it.
Purchases belong to the Rinava account used to buy them. Restore them while signed in to that account. Purchases cannot be transferred to another account, including after account deletion; matching email addresses do not merge accounts. Deleting a Rinava account does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription or request a refund. The Android app offers only Google Sign-In, so a purchase does not guarantee access on Android for an account created only with Apple. A purchase does not include World services. Using the app
You must be at least 16 years old to use Rinava. Use it for your own language learning. Do not use it to break the law, to harm other people, or to attack or overload the service.
AI-generated content
AI notes and roleplay replies are generated automatically and can be wrong. They are language practice, not medical, legal or financial advice.
Signed-in AI features use OpenAI to generate AI notes and roleplay replies. In roleplay practice, TypeSafe helps choose the partner’s next line from the authored lines for each sentence you write or say, and after an authored roleplay ends, TypeSafe evaluates the practice transcript to produce feedback. Before using these account features you must explicitly accept the current Terms and AI notice. A material change to the providers or purposes will be shown for acceptance again; routine model updates do not require a new acceptance.
