Deleting your account
You can delete your Rinava account and its data from inside the app, at any time, without asking us first.
In the app
On Apple devices:
- Open Settings.
- Choose Account.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
In the Android app:
- Open Me, then Settings.
- Choose Account.
- Choose Delete account, type your account ID and confirm.
You confirm your identity once more. On Apple devices, you confirm either through Apple or with your current sign-in. In the Android app, you confirm with your current Google sign-in; if it has expired, the app asks you to sign in with Google again. After that the deletion request is submitted and cannot be taken back. The account stays locked until the deletion has finished, and closing the app does not cancel a request that was already submitted.
What is removed
- Your account on our server.
- The personal learning data linked to it: progress, practice records, roleplay history and favourites.
- The feedback you sent in the app, including screenshots, our replies and the copies of linked roleplays.
- Your video usage records from Daily discovery.
- The account content stored on that device.
Shared teaching content and other people’s accounts are not affected. Deletion cannot be undone; the data cannot be restored afterwards.
Your purchases are separate
Deleting your account does not cancel an auto-renewing Apple or Google Play subscription or request a refund. Cancel any subscription separately in the store where you bought it: How to cancel an Apple subscription or How to cancel a subscription on Google Play.
Purchases, including lifetime membership, belong to the deleted Rinava account and cannot be restored into a new account. Deletion also removes access to that account’s remaining practice packs. We retain purchase-ownership records without the deleted account link to prevent the same purchase being claimed again; the privacy policy lists what is kept and for how long. Reusing the same email address does not restore or merge accounts. Apple decides refund requests for App Store purchases, and Google Play decides them for Google Play purchases.
If you cannot use the app
Write to support@littlewhale.io from the email address linked to your account and ask for deletion. We may need to check that the request really comes from you before we carry it out.
Delete roleplay history without deleting your account
You can delete one roleplay, or all finished roleplays of a theme, and keep your account.
On Apple devices:
- Open a theme, then Roleplay history.
- To delete one roleplay, open it, choose More actions (…), then Delete roleplay, and confirm with Delete.
- To delete all finished roleplays of the theme, choose Delete this theme’s history and confirm with Delete all.
In the Android app:
- Open a theme, then Roleplay history.
- To delete one roleplay, choose Delete roleplay next to it and confirm with Delete.
- To delete all finished roleplays of the theme, choose Delete all history and confirm with Delete.
This permanently deletes the full conversation from our server: the partner’s lines and the sentences you wrote or said. It also deletes your sentences from our review records of AI-generated lines. It cannot be undone. Roleplays that are still in progress, other themes, and expressions you saved separately are not affected.
If you linked a roleplay to feedback, the copy stored with that feedback is not deleted with the roleplay. It stays until you delete your account.
